In less than 4 days I will be running the Illinois Marathon in Champaign-Urbana.  I am doing so although I am WOEFULLY undertrained for the event.  SO, instead of trying to tough it out as long as I can, in hopes that someone finds me on the side of the road before I die of exposure, I am going to take my time and just, as they say, enjoy the ride.

As part of my enjoyment, I am going to blog the experience as I am running.  I am trying to come up with a way to do so on this website, but in the event that doesn't prove possible, I am going to use either some mobile blogging tool or twitter. If it is twitter, I will use @wrevis7171.  I will post pictures of the mile markers wherever possible (re. coherent enough to use the camera function on my phone).

The race starts at 0700 on Saturday, 30 April.  I will probably start tweeting/blogging at around 0530 and finish when I no longer am able to push the buttons on my phone.

Post a comment on here letting me know what you think.  I may tweak it a little more, I noticed one of the pictures isn't quite right.  Don't know why it did that but I'll try to fix it.
